Celebrate Black History Month with DAPA's Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity Committee as we honor and uplift Black voices during this virtual poetry reading. Featured works include:

1. "Those Winter Sundays" by Robert Hayden

2. "Still I Rise" by Maya Angelou

3. "What Happens to a Dream Deferred?" by Langston Hughes

4. "We Real Cool" by Gwendolyn Brooks

5. "We Wear the Mask" by Paul Laurence Dunbar

6. "Hurricane" by Yona Harvey

7. "Human Family" by Maya Angelou

8. "Mother to Son" by Langston Hughes

9. "Peace to Me" by Esther Ayisire

10. "I, Too" by Langston Hughes

Members are welcome to share their own, original works during the Reading. Please submit your original work for review to the Communications Director by emailing HERE no later than February 17th.

This event is open to all DAPA members.
