the Paralegal Association of Wisconsin.

Legal Writing - Top 5 Tips

Attorney Crystal Abbey of Godfrey & Kahn, S.C., presents on Legal Writing: Top 5 Tips to Make You a Better Legal Writer.  Attorney Abbey will lead us through how to use plain English writing to provide clarity and concision in our legal writings.  She will demonstrate the advantages of omitting surplus words and using legalism.  She will also stress that the key to effective communication is to organize and structure your writing while not distracting the reader with misplaced punctuation or incorrect grammar.
