Family Law Section Meeting + CLE | On Its Face: Drafting Persuasive Affidavits

Melissa W. Carson began her career in Texas family law with CitySquare Legal Action Works, a nonprofit law firm committed to representing low-income Dallas families.  There, Melissa handled a wide range of family law matters, including divorce, child support and custody, domestic violence, and grandparent custody.  Melissa continues to support the law center and its mission.  She is currently working at W.W. Caruth, Jr. Child Advocacy Clinic and the SMU Dedman School of Law as a Law Fellow.

Melissa received her J.D. with honors from the University of Florida Levin College of Law.  She received her B.A. in English and Political Science, with highest honors and as a member of Phi Beta Kappa, from the same university.
