MEETING INFO

She also holds a B.S. in Forensic Science from Baylor University and a M.S. in Criminal Justice from Sam Houston State University. Dr. Bourgeois’ research focuses on criminal justice system disparities, prosecutorial decision-making, health equity in the criminal justice system, school disciplinary practices, and risk and resilient factors associated with children impacted by parental incarceration. 

Dr. Bourgeois brings a wealth of practical experience to her teaching and research from her previous roles as a Probation Officer, Special Agent for Immigration and Customs Enforcement, and Forensic Scientist.
